Dr. Sean Back

Dr. Back joined Beach Pet in July, 2000 and brings with him a broad expertise in many areas of veterinary medicine. In addition to a complete medical and surgical background with dogs and cats, he also has many years experience in exotic animal medicine and surgery, emergency medicine and small animal geriatric.
Dr. Back attended the University of Maryland, College park and obtained his veterinary degree at Cornell University in 1989.  He has been a Virginia Beach resident since that time, enjoying beach time surfing, and soccer.  He and his wife, Karen, have three children, Seamas, Anderson and Roan.  They have two dogs, Jake and Lily, two tortoises, Trudy and Mary, and three birds, Skylar, Melody and Hank.
