Amy has been a receptionist at Beach Pet since August of 2016, but she has been working in the veterinary field since 1978! Originally from Hendersonville, North Carolina, Amy attended Brevard College and High Point College to earn her degree in Technical Writing and Biology, then moved to Virginia Beach in 1991. Amy’s family includes daughters Allison and Tara, and cats Tina, Marble, Simba, and Alto. In her free time Amy loves gardening, bird watching, and reading!
Becky joined Beach Pet Hospital’s Front Desk staff in May of 2013. She is a local who graduated from Bayside High School and attended Ultimate Medical Academy. She spent 12 years traveling as an Air Force wife in the US and in Europe. Her children Alison and Logan grew up in Las Vegas and Germany.
Becky’s family share the couch with cats, Hazel, Idgie, and Kermit and dogs Delilah, Fiona and Merlin. She is very active in the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and participates annually with other staff members in the Out of the Darkness community walks at Mount Trashmore City Park.
When she is not busy chauffeuring around her children, she enjoys scrapbooking and cheering on her son during his high school wrestling matches.
Jessie started working at Beach Pet in September of 2015 and earned her Associates in Science from Tidewater Community College in 2016. Although she was born in San Diego, California, Jessie, her husband Ryan, and their son Lawson love living in Virginia Beach. Jessie enjoys spending her free time gardening, being outdoors, and relaxing with friends and family! Jessie shares her home with 6 pets; She has one dog named Prim, two cats, two love birds, and a leopard gecko.
Kevin is a Virginia Beach native who graduated from Bayside High School in 1998 and attended Tidewater Community College. He has been working at Beach Pet since 2009. When he is at home, he is tolerated by his feline roommates, Thaddeus F. Fishe, Esq., and Mackerel Chips. Besides being a movie and television buff he is an avid reader who also enjoys games, music and hanging out with his friends and loved ones
Sara started working at Beach Pet in December of 2017, and is on track to graduate from Old Dominion University with her Bachelor’s degree in Biology in May of 2019. As a lifetime Virginia Beach local, Sara spends her free time painting and spending time with friends. She has one pet, a beagle named Stella, who loves taking walks on the beach!
